Volunteer TimeBank is a digital platform that connects volunteers, charities and businesses in a sustainable way that makes volunteering easier, more flexible and more rewarding for everyone involved. Our simple idea is that when people and organisations are supported to give time in a way that works for them, everyone benefits, individuals, communities, businesses and charities alike.

We are launching locally in Chichester and across West Sussex, and we would love the opportunity to talk with Chamber members about Corporate Social Responsibility, how to make volunteering simpler for busy teams, and how our time banking model allows volunteering hours to be banked, analysed and even saved for future use.

A key part of our work is supporting young people into confidence, skills and opportunity. This year we are piloting our Young Ambassador Programme in Chichester and West Sussex. It offers six young people aged 18 to 25 a year of mentored, real world experience. They will work as a team delivering talks in schools and communities, supporting charities, engaging with businesses, and gaining hands on experience in areas such as marketing, administration, events, research and public speaking. Alongside this they receive accredited, CV ready experience, training and mentoring.

What makes this programme special is that it builds employability while also strengthening local charities. Each Ambassador champions organisations they care about and helps connect people, businesses and community causes. Volunteer TimeBank is a charity for charities, founded by me and my business partner, Rangesh Nallan, with a simple principle.
