Make a Will fortnight

This March 10th – 21st, local solicitors are helping to support St Wilfrid’s Hospice and the local community.

During this fortnight you are invited to get your Will written with one of the participating solicitors. Instead of their usual Will writing fee, the solicitors ask that you instead donate to the Hospice. This donation will help support St Wilfrid’s Hospice to continue to provide expert care and compassion to local lives.

There is no expectation for you to remember St Wilfrid’s Hospice in your Will, however, we would be incredibly grateful if you did consider leaving us a gift. One in four of our patients’ care is funded through gifts left in Wills by our kind supporters.

Bake a difference

Looking to pick-up a new hobby in 2025? Why not consider taking up baking, and to give you some motivation, do it in support of St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

We love to see the bakes that our amazing community create and so we are asking that you consider holding a baking-themed event to raise funds for the Hospice. This could be a bake-off, coffee morning, bake sale or anything else baking related.

Whatever you decide to do, it can be a great way to bring friends, family and the local community together, while also raising funds to support the vital end-of-life care that the Hospice provides.

In 2025, we have a variety of great challenges that are perfect for those of you looking to step outside of your comfort zone.

From a trek along Hadrian’s wall and up Snowdonia at night, to the London Marathon and the Great South Run, there are lots of great challenges for those of you looking to push yourselves and get active in 2025.
